Illinois as the biggest markets in the Midwest and home to over 2,000 corporate headquarters, a thriving startup scene and over 1.2 million small-scale businesses, offers all the resources that global companies require to thrive in business today. From the world-class infrastructure that connects companies to suppliers and customers to skilled and knowledgeable workforces in various industries as well as a modern manufacturing base, Illinois has a leading position in many fields including advanced and sustainable technology, agriculture, energy, life sciences, transportation logistics.

Governor JB Pritzker joined representatives from Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network and local officials today in Chicago to launch CZ Biohub Chicago - a revolutionary research hub located that is at the forefront of cutting-edge scientific studies. The Center assists entrepreneurs from the local area with help in starting or expanding their businesses by offering services like free workshops on business planning One-on-one counseling sessions with experienced Business Advisors and access financing opportunities.

State officials in Indiana are informing employers to provide higher salaries and benefits as a method of keeping child care workers employed nationwide as they face a shortage of work. This follows the closing of a child care center in Bronzeville which was struggling to retain staff.
